You don't realise how lucky you really are, I mean yeah, you won't understand some of the speech but you won't use swear words either and that, in the long term, is way better than swearing all the time.

It still helps to know what they mean so you dont use them in the wrong way and become humiliated

If you don't know it, its best not to use it anyway. Besides, abbreviations like smh and fml etc come up on google pretty easily
