chapter one
"goodbye love you!" those
were the last words i heard from my sister. I remember that night
perfectly. I was supposed to wait up for Sam to get home because my
parents had fallen asleep. It was 11:00p.m and she wasn't home
yet. I was getting nervous so i called her. Her and her friends
went to see a movie, wich was a 30 minute drive, then dinner. She
hung up and got into the car. Sam had just gotten her lisense, so
she got behind the wheel. On there way home, they hit a deer. The
car flipped 5 times until it stopped. Sam went through the
windsheild because she wasn't wearing her seatbelt. The person
in the passenger seat was her boyfriend Andrew. He had his seatbelt
on ,but the airbag went in his face and he couldn't breath.
Andrew died that night in the crash as well. In the backseat were
Sam's best friends, Amanda and Gabby. They both survived. As
soon as the crash happened, Amanda called 911. Gabby dragged
Sam's phone out of her pocket and called me. When i heard this,
i woke up my parents. They got up in a hurry and drove out to were
the crash was. We were silent in the car. When we got there i
remember seeing Sam lying on the street with a pool of blood around
her. I ran over to Gabby who was crying. "GABBY!!" i
screamed running over to her. "JENNA! SAM AND ANDREW WERE
KILLED!!" she said with tears streaming down her face. "I
know, are you and Amanda ok?" "i cant feel anything,but i
think i have alot of broken bones!!" she said as she looked
down at her feet. She was still in the car because she couldn't
get up. I walked across to Amanda to see how she was. "JENNA I
CAN'T GET OUT !!" she cried " i know' we are
waiting for the firetruck and ambulance to get here. Can you feel
anything?" i said with fear in my voice. "No i can't
but i can see my bone in my arm!!" she screamed. I looked at
her arm and almost passed out. There was a gash in her arm so deep
that you could see the bone. Just then the firetruck and ambulance
showed up. I found my parents and watched as they out Sam and
Andrew into body bags and take them away. Then i look over to the
car. The firemen got them out and out them on strectchers. They
were lifted in to an ambulance and driven away. My parents and i
went over to the car that had been wrecked. We saw in the car was a
note. We opened it and i was to Sam. It read Dear Sam, I hope
you're not mad. I never ment to hurt you' well one time i
will. John. My parents looked at me. They asked if i knew who John
was. I said no and we got in the car and went home. When we
got home, i went right to bed. I couldn't shake the note. Who
is John? Did he make the deer run into the road? I went to sleep
and desided i would figure out these things
tomarrow...hopefully.
