You are ridiculous.
THOUSANDS of Directioners were saying like this.
It takes a lot of people to get something trending on Twitter, you daft child. I never said it had anything to do with the band, itself. I said I would be ashamed and embarrassed if I had a fanbase an unintelligent and rude as you pubescent girls are.
Your fanbase is terrible. No, it isn't all of you. But those of you who do behave this way are louder than those of you who do not.
How about we talk about Directioners telling a five year old girl to kill herself. Or how people are saying she should have died with her father.
Let's talk about how people told Alex that his brother killed himself to get away from him because he stated his distaste for a One Direction song.
Or about how thousands of people on Twitter are mocking Mitch's death.
Let's talk about that.

Maybe one person, who happened to like one direction, said this. But it has nothing to do with One Direction.
That's really judgmental. People try and make our fanbase seem so much worse than it really is.

How about you write something about how I was told to kill myself because I like One Direction. You'd get a lot of sympathy for that too.

Oh my god.
1. I don't care if you're a directioner and don't do this. Stop commenting like that
2. Just because you're a "real directioner" doesn't mean that 95% of your fan base acts this way.
3. Just because you don't see any of this being said doesn't mean it isn't happening.
4. If one more person comments something that relates to anything I just said, I will hunt your down, eat your parents, and disconnect your wifi.

This is crap. I don't know a single Directioner to have done any of that. Way to blame...

Just because you don't know anyone doing it doesn't mean it isn't happening, princess.

Just because you didn't see it happen, doesn't mean it didn't happen. It did happen and it was, for the most part, Directioners, so she is entirely right in who she is blaming here.

Though I'm a Directioner myself, I completely agree with you on this. It is very disgusting to just tell someone to kill themselves because they don't like a song. Honestly, it's a person's life you're talking about. And I have never heard of Mitch Lucker until now, but it's not like I would disrespect him like that. It's pretty low to just say a person just DESERVED to die. No one does. And not every single Directioneris like this though. These 'Directioners' are WAY too sick. It's disturbing how easily you can just type the words "go kill yourself" and just send them to someone. It's not right, doing that. These things make me disappointed in our fandom so much. Everybody deserves to live.

That was a terrible thing to say and whoever said that can rot in hell but I'm the biggest die-hard directioner I know, and I cut. I've been scuicidal. Not all of us are evil bast/ards.

'I realize not all of you are like this, but a vast majority of you are'
I think you'll find that if you got to know most directioners, they are nice, and perfectly fine to be friends with. I do agree that it is a horrible thing to hate on people's heroes, and to hate on people for not having the same music taste- But there are people like this in every fandom, for one thing.
Also, the bad people of any kind stick out, which is why teenage girls are all judged by others as slutty and easy. The thing is, people never look at the good examples in a group of people- And these people often turn out to be the majority.
I completely agree that these type of directioners are wrong- these type of people in general are wrong- but to say the majority are like this? They really aren't.

Those people who do that, aren't Directioners, they're people who think they are. Not all of the fans of One Direction are like that, just saying.

Props to you for making this. Everyone deserves respect. It doesn't matter what your opinion on a subject is. Have respect. That's the least anyone can do. Especially after someone's death.

Okay, well let me start off by saying that it's absolutely unacceptable for people to say "go kill yourself". Did you see what he tweeted though? If not here is is: "The new One Direction single is horrendous, carelessly written, and whoever wrote it should feel bad, because it's bad. Gross." Do you understand how that feels? This song has put all my insecurities into words, and it feels horrible when someone says they hate the song. Now I'm not saying you have to like the song, but when you post something like that you are practically setting yourself up to receive hate. But in no way is it okay to say "go kill yourself" to someone. Personally, I have never seen someone say that to anyone. It's not the vast majority of us, it's a few stupid people who ruin it for the rest of us.

The Directioner fandom sucks. It really really does. I totally agree with you. Most Directioners are sadly like this. I am sometimes ashamed to call myself a Directioner because of the things these other ''Directioners'' say to people.
I have met many wonderful and amazingly open-minded Directioners but still...
This fandom is .

I am a directioner.ok I wouldn't do any of these disgusting things.I am sto ashamed that these girls call themselves DIRECTIONERS.But I don't think they act like that because they are directioners..it's their personality.they would do such a thing even if they were beliebers, selenators and swifties...One direction didn't taught us any of these things.

Not all us Directioners are like that I swear. Ever since our boys got famous and f/cking 12 years started being in our fandom and ruining everything our fandom has gone to t. Mitch was a huge inspiration to me, and I love him and Alex to death I have the biggest respect for both of them. Im so ashamed of my fandom, we are honestly disgusting. Its not One Direction's fault obviously, but the stupid little kids who pretend they're directioners

I'm 12, and I'm a fan. But I would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever tell someone to go and kill themselves. I have been a fan since 2010, though, and the fandom has been really rude. I completely agree with you, but I'm just saying 0.0001% of 12 and 13 year old Directioners are not like that.

TheOtherDirection · 1 decade ago
The reason she is saying 12 year olds are the reason of our fandom going to is because most of the time, people your age don't understand what they say to people can actually hurt them. When you mature a bit in a few years you start to empathize more with people. 12 year olds (most of the time) are not mature enough to go trolling on the internet. They have no substantial points most of the time. behindthesehazel_eyes has a brilliant point in what shes saying.

Ik, I'm not saying that she isn't. I'm just saying that I'm 12, but I don't tell people to go die. I learned that off of Witty :)

I'm a Directioner. But never in my entire life would I ever, ever, a, mock someone's death, b, tell someone they need to kill themselves, c, especially to say it because of their music choice, or d, judge someone's idol. That's just sick. And I'm really sorry about Mitch. Like I never really listened to their music that much, but I can only imagine how devastating this must be. I'm really, truly sorry for that. And I don't mean this like, "OMG, that is mean lyke y wuld u say all directioners are lyke tht how dare u i'm nt lyke tht look how nice i am". I am really sorry that some fans are like this, and especially sorry about Mitch.
