Getting back with your ex would the worst thing you could do. Why break the heart of your perfect, sweet best friend to get back with a lying jerk who doesn't even treat you right? It makes no sense to get back together with your ex, and it wouldn't be fair to your boyfriend. By reading the comments below, I know that you current boyfriend seems to be fading out of the picture a bit, and that's probably because your ex won't stop bugging you. Just tell your ex (really assertively) that you guys are NEVER getting back together. Okay? Tell me how it goes.

well it's hard, and like my boyfriend has been this way for a while now, like i have to go to him if i want to see him or talk to him, he's really quiet, he doesn't open up to me or anything like that. like it just frustrates me, i love my boyfriend like crazy but at the same time he's so difficult. :P like even if i were single right now, i wouldnt get back with my ex right away cause im not sure he even honestly wants me back, like i told him if we were meant to get back together it would happen. but like idk guys are so confusing

If they're both so difficult, and your current boyfriend is completely ignoring you, I think that MAYBE you should break up with your current bf, and stay single for a while. And, no matter what you do, never get back together with your ex.

it's not that he's ignoring me, he just is a pain and never keeps his phone on him or anything like that. but like the thing with my ex is i can't make a promise i wouldn't go back to him. I mean that sounds bad but im just being honest. I care about them both, and like it's hard for me to just walk away from a relationship i've been in for 13 months. like i want to sit down and talk to my current boyfriend about everything even about how was i was confused cause i dont want to hide this from him =/ i mean it's probably going to make him want to walk away from the relationship but oh well, it happens. i just dont want to hide it from him

So i told him the truth and he understands, he pretty much told me he's not going anywhere, he's not leaving me and walking away from the relationship. I really am lucky he cares so much to be here for me and not abondon me

i know you may feel really attatched to your ex, but you broke up for a reason. but it is so easy to get so attatched to your first love. and if he wasnt treating you right he doesnt deserve to have you back. i think you should stay with your current boyfriend, but youll figure out yourself what you want to do eventually.

yeah i know, my best friend is pretty much ready to kill me, i like feel like the worst girlfriend ever at the moment and it's just ridiculous im not one to hide how im feeling from him either but at the same time i know if i tell him about this im pretty much screwed either way

if you're having feelings towards someone else, then maybe you're not as in love with your boyfriend as you thought you were. And if you went for your ex, and it didn't work out, you would not be able to get your boyfriend back. Your ex fu.cked you over once and if you go back to him you deserve to have it happen again because you have a boyfriend who loves you and respects you enough to remain faithful

yeah i know, like i don't actually talk to my ex that much, but when we talk it tends to lead back to us talking about our past which is why i try to leave him be, like i said i know i have a good thing in front of me, i just tend to lose confidence now and then because it's how i am =/ i hate it =/

yeah i know, it's just tough cause like my boyfriend and i have been together 13 months, but he's real quiet and closed off on his feelings, i never know what's going through his mind and he's difficult :P then there's my ex who made me the girl i am today, i mean he treated me good even though we had a complicated relationship, but the 2 of them are so different and i feel like im in a war, cause my ex said he's not gonna let me go and he's not gonna stop being him whether my boyfriend likes it or not. it's just a pain lmao, it's all so confusing, like i'm happy where i am and i don't want to walk away from the relationship but i don't understand why my heart is stuck between 2 people

lmao i have asked him that trust me, and he does, but he still won't let me go, he's got a bit of a tough life and i get that, but my boyfriend is a bit confusing too, he used to text me/msg me on fb first all the time, now i have to constantly bug him to get him to talk to me, or just show up at his house if he won't just so i can see him, and lately im getting frustrated with it, but that doesn't mean i want to walk away, i'm just confused because i've been wanting my ex back since forever, and he didn't want me and then now he want's me and all of a sudden i'm confused, i know him better then anyone and he's not one to go and lie to me about stuff, but this whole thing is just confusing

Oh i know, and like idk it's all so confusing lol, im gonna talk to my best friend about it cause she knows me and my boyfriend real well cause she's always with us, but like my ex knows to leave it alone when my boyfriend is around, it's when i'm alone that he flirts with me but i don't flirt back because when i'm in a relationship with someone im faithful to that person. guys are just confusing :P one minute they want you then they don't. but me and my ex have a history much more beyond our relationship which is why it's hard to let go of each other

yeah i know it sucks i went out with this guy we said i love you everyday and guess what one day he didnt say it back he broke up with me and i was at school at lunch crying and everyone was lookin at me asking me whats wrong i was crying he was looking at me how hurt i was after he did that after all that we had he threw it away thats why i perfer being single

i like being in a relationship im just an idiot at times :P it's just all so confusing cause as usual when i have something good going i find a way to screw it all up. my best friend said im stuck cause i choose to make it that way and it's not that, it's just that my ex is important to me, i'm not one who can let go just like that. it's hard =/ but i don't want to give up the best thing that's ever happened to me either which is my boyfriend. he may be quiet, but he makes me smile and laugh within a minute of being with him
