Eleven years
ago,
my daddy was walking to work. He used to work in the twin
towers
and would walk from the subway to his office.
He had just gotten a pair of new shoes and they were giving him
blisters.
So, he stopped in Starbucks and ordered a tall, dark coffee
He found a seat in the corner of the Starbucks and took off his
shoes.
He slowly sippe his coffee, while rubbing his feet.
Suddenly, a message started planning on the TV in the
corner.
it showed the building where he worked, but it was in
flames.
The reporter started to tell all about how the planes had hit
the building.
It sunk in, and my daddy called my mom, letting her know he was
ok.
Something saved my father that day,
maybe it was his shoes,
but i believe it was God. He saved my daddy so that he could
still be a part of my life and so he can walk me up the
isle.
So thank you, God.
I love you,
Daddy.

my daddy worked in the buildings. he was on the 94th floor when the first tower was hit. he and his three friends ran out. at an elevator, my daddy and his friend went down the elevator. the other two went down the stairs. my daddy got out and ran. he was running away as the second tower, his tower, was hit. he got an a ferry and they all escaped to an island just nearby. my daddy is fine now. i'm so happy he's okay.
oh and the two other guys? never seen again.

That is very sweet and touching but please explain to me why God would save your father and not the thousands of other people that died that day. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, husbands, wives. I believe and love God with all my heart but I would like you to explain your reasoning on that.

So those 2,977 other people who died were just nothing to god? No it really doesn't work that way. I love these stories; Michael Jackson was suppose to be in the North tower for an appointment but overslept due to his mother keeping him up until 3am. It's not god that saved your father, it was his moral choice to get a coffee and take his shoes off. Be thankful your father loves his feet.
