Omg, lol yo the people saying that it's wrong for you to say this because its fine to celebrate the birthday of someone you love and care for, omg you people probably don't even know the baby so just shut up with that.
I agree with you, and I think that you aren't saying that it's wrong to celebrate someone's birthday because a tragedy happened, i think you just mean that its ridiculous that people are putting someone's birthday ahead of a very tragic day, when they don't even know that person.
I do think that people in England and Europe and everyone else, do not feel the same way about 9/11 as we do, because it didn't necessarily affect them.
I do agree though, and don't think that you're over reacting at all. (:

I don't get this. We dont even know the baby. She wasn't the only baby born today, lol. Baby's are born every 10 seconds. I'm pretty much just trying to say what this quote says. I think honoring the people who died in this tragedy is more important.

Okay let's get this straight. We are NOT excited that thousands of people died in a burning buliding. We're excited for someone's birthday. someone's BIRTH DAY. Lux can't help when she's born. My best friends birthday was today also. So, should I have gone up to her and said, " Sorry, no one cares about your birthday, it's 9/11". NO. just please think about that, I'm not trying to be nmean.

I think its possible to both pay your respects and celebrate baby Lux's birthday but my only question is, why would you celebrate her birthday if you don't even know her? Yeah, you know who she is, but you don't know her personally.

Yes, people should mourn over 9/11 because it was a tragedy to our country, our home. But we can't control the acts that other people commit on us. If today also happens to be somebody's birthday, we should celebrate it also. Just because a terrible tragedy occured, does not mean we should not cherish a life that was born the same day.

I know some people are happy about baby lux's birthday but that doesn't mean they don't care about 9/11

I agree with you up to a certain extent. The part where I disagree is that you mourn over 9/11, yet people die everyday and there have been greater attacks and disasters that don't get a national holiday and don't get people mourning over them year after year...

Okay no. YOU need to grow up. Calm down jeez, are u saying that people can't celebrate the birth of someone they love and care for just cuz something tragic happened on that same day? I'm sure someone has died on ur birthday or something tragic could've happened on ur birthday that u don't know about. But u and the people who care about and love you still celebrate it! I will pay my respects to the people who passed on 9/11 tomorrow but I'll be dammed if I don't say happy birthday to Baby Lux also. Don't make people feel bad for celebrating someone's birth.

A TO THE MEN.
It's their stylists freaking baby, get over it. The fact that we were attacked by terrorists is more important than something f ucking one direction related.

The reason that I think of tomorrow as Lux's birthday and not as a terrorist attack is because last night I was watching a show that talked about 9/11 and I broke down crying, so I would rather celebrate the happy than the sad

They're not celebrating because 9/11 happened, they're celebrating because someone was born. It's different. :3

My best friend's birthday is tomorrow, and he was born a few years before the terrorist attack, and we still celebrate HIS birthday, not the fact that people died because of a horrible attack from terrorists. You ARE allowed to celebrate someone's birthday even if it's on 9/11. A lot of those people might not be from the U.S so they might not have the same mourning for the 9/11 attack. I still respect those that died, and mourn for their families and friends, but there have been millions of people born on that day in different years. This is not hate, I was just putting my opinion out there so please don't get mad at me.

I love Baby Lux, don't get me wrong. But so many people died on September 11 that I feel it's 10000000000 times more important. Yes, it's her birthday, but it's also the day so many people died.
And Baby Lux is 1D's stylist's daughter.
