DAILY JOURNAL: day 2

Today I dressed up for him. I wore a dress and wedges. He's always liked girls who dress the way I did today, and although it was 100% out of my comfort zone, it wouldn't hurt to try. People looked at me weird all day, in my classes in the hallway, a few guys whistled at me and all my friends told me I looked stunning. But when i passed my crush in the hallway, he didnt even look my way. I could get anyone elses attention, except his. But on my way to 7th period physics, he was coming from 6th period algebra. I was starting to walk behind his friends, and he was ahead of them. He turned around to wait for them when he saw me. He stopped and stared at me as I struggled to walk down the hallway in my 5 inch shoes. I tried telling myself over and over in my head 'dont fall, dont fall he's watching you.' My feet were aching in my shoes and I could feel the blister forming on the back of my heels, but it was worth it. I had caught his attention, that was all I could ask for.
