Suicide Awareness Day
That's today.
I wore one of my sisters yellow shirts. At school I told some of
my friends about it. I thought that a lot of people would care,
but some people just said things like "Who
cares?" Or "Why do you care?" Some
didn't say anything and just pretended I didn't say
anything. Well for those people I want you to know that I have a
suicidal cousin. She's thirteen and turning 14 in October.
She tried jumping of a building, but she's okay. Now she cuts
herself and locks herself in the closet. So today meant a lot to
me. I know some of you have lost people to suicide, so thanks for
understanding, and wearing yellow!
