Chapter 12: Allie's POV

Within 10 minutes, we were at the party. Zayn took me by the hand when we walked inside, where what looked like hundreds of people were dancing, talking, doing normal party stuff. I felt Zayn pulling me upstairs, I followed. When we got onto the second floor, he went up another flight of stairs, with me following close behind, gripping onto his hand. We got onto the rooftop soon enough. There was nobody up here, but me and him. He pulled me to the railing and stood there, watching me. "Zayn," I grinned. He pulled me close and rested his chin on my shoulder, leaning down. I traced circles on his back. "What do we do after this," I whispered. He kept his eyes closed. "Liam said go back to the house, right," Zayn said confused. I shook my head. "I mean after today, after August, when I need to go back home," I said, even quieter. He opened his eyes to look at me. "I'd be lying if I said I knew Allie," He said, quiet too. I sighed and turned to look towards the ocean, waves crashing down against the sand. His arms snaked their way around my waist. I turned my head to look at him. "I don't know either Zayn,but," I trailed off. He kept watching me intently.
"I love you," I said quietly, but sure of myself. He pulled away fast, as if I was on fire. Looking down, he said, " I'll go get us some drinks," and rushed off. And I was left there standing like an idiot. I heard him quickly going down the stairs. God, why was I always so stupid? Why didn't I see that there was nothing between us?

Autumn's POV

Starships by Nicki Minaj started being blasted through the speakers in the house. The entire time we had been at this party, Liam and I had been dancing, together. I wrapped my arms around Liam's neck, and he did the same, to my waist. My head fit perfectly onto his shoulder as he pulled me close. We rocked side to side, slow dancing, not caring that everyone else was jumping up and down to the upbeat song. I closed my eyes, enjoying the most of this moment. I had gotten to know Liam really well this weekend. I think he's great. He's anything I could ever ask for, not like those jerks I've dated in the past. "A thought just occured to me," Liam whispered to me. I looked up at him, listening. "We still haven't been out on a first date," he added. I frowned. "What about that diner, or now, I'm at the Hamptons with you," I questioned him. "I mean a REAL date," he grinned saying it. I shrugged. "Autumn, you want to go on a date sometime," He asked looking down at me. I don't know what made me say this. Maybe it was the loud music, or the smell of sweat, alcohol. I think it can only be explained as in the heat of the moment. I shook my head saying, "Not until I finish making that dress I bought all the materials for." Liam frowned then started to smile. "Okay, deal," he said. "It could take a long time, a few months even," I countered. "It's worth the wait," he said, pulling me to him. That was when I realized that he was perfect. For me.

Niall's POV

I don't know how many drinks I've had so far. I felt like I was back in Ireland, taking in a few pints. This is why I liked parties in America, they didn't check ID's. Ruthie had just went upstairs to check on her makeup or something. I didn't understand her, she was so beautiful without it. Someday, I will go to her room, steal her makeup and throw it out somewhere. She'll like that I bet. I heard a voice a few feet away. "Niall, Niall," It called. I followed its sound and there was Ruthie, lost amongst the sea of people in the house. I went up to her and took her hand, leading her back to our spot in the corner. She leaned towards me kissing me harder than ever. I kissed back, liking her new sense of daring.Next thing I knew, Ruthie was pushed off me, by..Ruthie? I took a closer look at who I had been kissing. The brown in her hair started to come off as blonde, and her eyes turned bright blue. I hadn't been kissing Ruthie...I had been kissing Duranka. Next thing I knew, I was covered in a cold glass of beer, thrown willingly by Ruthie.
