This is my favorite time of year.
Despite my dad spending more time at Football games than with me.
Or my mom, instisting that I do cross-country. No matter how many times I tell her I don't want to.
Or going back to school.
And trying to look okay, with my hand-me-down clothes.
The lack of sleep, friends, and guys for some odd reason, just might like me back.

I like it because of the football games. I go to because I love them. And avoiding my former sqaud of cheerleaders. And the stuck-up people in my grade, that go the games to socailize, not to watch and root.
The chilly weather. The jeans, sweaters, and boots.The colorful leafs that crunch beneath your feet. Roast beef on Sundays. Halloween. And seeing your best friend that is somehow even weirder than you, every day.
