Chapter
three
When I got home from school I was
probally the happiest girl ever! I had asked Adrian to come over
for dinner so he could help me get ready he was was more stylish
than I ever was. We had finished eating, not that I eat much
anymore. Since the dissapearance food hasn't really appealed
to me anymore.
Me and adrian had decieded on a cute
little black summer dress, Since it was a bit chilly we topped it
off with a cute red leather jacket. Adrian decieded he was boss
and that he was going to straighten my hair and apply my mascara
and lipstick. By the end I kind of looked like Barbie, I felt
like the old me again. All of a sudden we heard a honk outide.
Adrian started jumping up and down say "He is here!
Christian is really here!" I laughed at his sing song voice.
When I got to the door Amber was standing there with her hand on
her hip.
"Where do you think you're
going?"
"Oh didn't I tell you? I
have a date with this gorgeous boy Christian
tonight."
"Oh... Did he say anything
about me?"
I was trying not to laugh as she
nervously bit her manicured nails.
"Hmm no he didn't.. all he
said was he was trying to avoid going out with some annoying
sl*t."
I walked out the door with a sly
grin on my face. Maybe this year wasn't going to be so bad
after all. When I got into the car I couldn't help but notice
how cute he looked. He turned the music up as we drove away. I
was a bit shocked I didn't get a compliment. I mean don't
get me wrong I am not full of myself, its just today he had been
so sweet. Maybe it was all an act to get me on a date with him?
Maybe he wasn't into me at all. My mood instantly went down,
along with my self esteem.
He finally spoke when we got to the
ice cream place.
"Oh wow where are my manners?!
You look gorgeous Winter, Im a lucky guy to be here with you
right now."
Well he just got some points for
that one.. But I couldn't stop thinking of the boy with
crystal blue eyes. There was something about him that made me
breathless. I mean sure I was attracted to Christian and he was a
sweet heart.. well I think he is so far. Yet I can't get baby
blue eyes off my mind! D*mn what was his name
again?
"Helloooo? Earth to
Winter!"
"Oh sorry, I was distracted by
your beautiful green eyes!" That was a quick save! I gave
him a flirty smile, Little did he know I was wishing those green
eyes of his were blue...
