So much for love at first sight
I should have looked twice
I was blinded by your face
And your eyes that made me feel like I was lost in space
With a second look maybe I could see
See what you would have done to me
Maybe by looking you in the eyes
I could have seen the lies
Maybe if I listened I could have heard
The flaw in every word
They say one look is all you need
It also may mislead
Now when it comes I might cringe
In memory of the pain it may bring
But being alone gives me times to think
Time to stop staring and blink
