I haven't been on witty since 2004, but I have been on long enough to tell you witty is not the same, and believe me, it hasn't changed for the better. I don't know when everything got screwed up, but it needs to stop. Everyone is fighting over the stupidest things and I can't handle it anymore. I'm leaving witty.
First there was One Direction. I understand all the quotes were annoying and that witty isn't a fan site, but that doesn't mean people should be saying things like, "go kill yourself," because of it. Nobody should ever say that. You are solving the problem with the new witty where you can ignore people, so we don't have to worry about the One Direction quotes. But that is only one of the problems. 
Recently, people have started to fight about nutella. Seriously!?!? It is food! People have different taste buds so it doesn't matter, but some people are taking it to far and yet again telling people to kill themselves. It doesn't matter whether or not you like nutella. Everybody has different tastebuds. If there is fighting, at least make it about something worth fighting for.
There are also a bunch of fake accounts. One person said that they committed suicide because of witty. Nobody is 100% sure this is true or not, but it doesn't matter because the fact that we bullied somebody to make them even think about killing themselves is crazy. She made a quote, telling little about herself, and people started sending hate how she was bragging and fake. Nobody, not even me, knows what really happened, and yet people are fighting about it. There was another account, nobody believed he was a boy so he committed suicide. I don't know what is true anymore though, because there were some accounts that actually were fake, but who knows and wittians sending hate to them because of it is wrong. Maybe they wanted to be heard and it was the only way, I don't know.
There was another problem with gay marriage. Everybody has different beliefs, and it is crazy to be judging people on who they like. For some people, it may be against their religion for gays to get married, but that is their opinion. Because somebody posted a quote saying that they are against it, doesn't mean we have to tell them that they are mean, stupid, crazy, whatever. Everybody has different beliefs and opinions, and if you don't like someone's, don't send hate, ignore it, and don't tell people to kill themselves.
This is really long and I know how busy you are, but all this fighting is ridiculous. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and you shouldn't hate someone and tell them to kill themselves because they don't believe the same thing as you, don't like the same music, or don't like the same food. Difference is what makes you you. Stop the fighting, you are the only one wittians will listen to.
I know it will be hard to stop the fighting and I have no idea how to stop it, but I was hoping you do. You already figured out the One Direction issue, I know you can figure out everything else. Anything, even just posting a quote to tell people to stop, I'm sure people will listen to you.
