The gunman had a mental breakdown. He died his hair red and claimed he was "The Joker" and thats why he shot up the place. Because he thought it was his duty. Goes to show you how crazy people are. Theres 58 injured and 12 dead. The baby did survive along with its parents. But the shooter did kill a lot of people and didnt care who he killed. The sick part was no one really knew it was going to happen. He bought a ticket and sat down in the movie theater like a normal person and then when he made sure no one was paying attention he snuck out the exit keeping it slightly opened and loaded himself up with guns and bullet proof vests, etc and then went back in and started shooting up the place. Its a sick a twisted idea. RIP to all the victims.

Thank god that didn't happen during the Hunger Games premier. There would probably be even more injured or dead people. God, that is just so sad. How could a person just walk into a movie theater and do that? It's sick. Just sick. RIP all victims

My town took action and now has security in all the movie theaters due to this.
Now a fun pass time thing, is super dangerous. Who would've guessed.

I'm from Colorado, my mom said that the guy told the police that he had laced his apartment with explosives or something and they had to evacuate the whole building. R.I.P to all those who were killed.

The baby survived. I live 45 min away, I havent left my houe since I heard about it. Im so scared to eve go to the movies again. Its sad that aplace so inocent can become a scene frm a horror movie. Im glad the guy was arrested.

I heard about that, its so sad how people can just kill for no reason and taking the life of an inocent baby? How could you live with yourself after that? Also pray for the families of the victims of a really bad accident that occurred in upstate new york yesterday. A tractor trailer hit the back of a car exploding the gas tank and killing 3 young girls, their mother, and grandmother, a women in another car. there is also a man with 3rd degree burns on his entire upper torso, chest and head traumas...he probably won't survive...rip.
