I'm wondering where you got this from? Because it's incomplete - I know this because I am the Author. I handed this into my College Professor in 1992. Here's the rest of it:
My dreams clouded over,
to resemble the skies.
The rain kept falling,
and flowed from my eyes.
My pride was hurt,
and my heart was scarred.
But, next time, I vowed,
I won't fall so hard.
