Hiding in the Shadows
[ Intro ]
When you're a fourteen year old girl, you
just want to be happy and live your life without a care in the
world. Your worst worry should be what shade of lipstick you want
to where to school that day. Unfortunately, this wasn't the
case for Hallie Mitchell.
After her mother's suicide, Hallie's whole world seemed
to be falling apart right in front of her eyes. She fell into a
bottomless pit known as depression. She struggled in and out of
school. Her father turned to alcohol to help him cope with his
loss. She grew apart from her little sister, Aubrielle. Hallie
started doing drastic things to help her gain back
her happiness, but these things may just cost her her
life.
