Just a kiss.

Chapter 2

 

His white pale face looked just as surprised as mine.  My mouth dropped, making me look like an idiot. 

 

He smiled, that cute boyish smile. It made me cringe.  I ran my fingers through my hair, trying to look attractive. 

 

"Hey." He smiled, leaning against my locker.

 

"Hey." My face turned bright red. Well he was the first boy I had ever liked. 

 

"We should catch up. Maybe I will come by your place tonight?" He smiled, fiddling with his tie.

 

I tried to make an excuse like I had homework or it was my moms Birthday, but he would have been able to tell. 

 

"Sure." My face went stiff, leaving me breathless. 

 

"Great." He smiled, walking off. 

 

I sighed in relief, grabbing my Math book, trotting off.

 

I couldn't fall for him again. He broke up with me. I didn't break up with him.

 

I needed a plan. I needed to get him back.  

 

By the end of the day, I was beyond exhausted. I dropped on my bed, kicking off my sneakers. 

 

I pulled up my Hollister hoodie, pulling the ties. I thought about Matthew. His smile. His laugh. That he was coming over tonight.

 

I jumped up realizing it. My body went stiff. I quickly took off my clothes, throwing them on my bed.

 

I put on a floral skirt with a white tank top, along with some brown heels.

 

I caked my face up with makeup, reminding me how I use to every time I saw him when I was younger. 

 

I straightened my dark brown hair, bringing back memories of the time we had our first date at the movies.

 

He's just stopping by, I reminded myself.
