Yesterday my friend came over with his sister.
She's 9 and is a big fan of Nickelodeon and Disney. When she came over she was wearing a Victorious shirt, iCarly sneakers, one of those Tinkerbell temporary tattoos, and a JB bracelet with Justin's picture on it. I looked at her attire and said, "Wow, no one wore this kind of stuff when I was your age." And she said, "You mean you guys didn't have this when you were a kid?" I told her no. She asked why this is was so surprising to see her dressed like this. I responded with, "Well, you see, when I was your age, Miranda Cosgrove was Megan, not Carly. Jerry Trainor was Crazy Steve, not Spencer. Victoria Justice was Lola, not Tori. Tinkerbell didn't even talk. And JB stood for Jonas Brothers, not Justin Bieber."
