Chapter 13.
““You like nice
sweetie.” My mom complimented my strapless black
dress.
“Thanks.” I said,
adjusting my crutches. “I have a date
tonight.”
“Excuse me, I thought we
agreed on dinner tonight?” My mom crossed her arms,
waiting for an explanation.
“Sh//t.” I mumbled
under my breath. “Mom, I’m sorry, I
totally forgot. But this is really important.
Like, you have no idea.”
“Something is always more
important than your family, isn’t it?” She
asked, tears brewing in her eyes.
“Mom, come on.
It’s just one night, don’t get all
emotional.” I rolled my eyes.
“Fine, have a nice time with
your friends.” She answered sternly, proceeding to
her bedroom.
“Whatever.” I scoffed,
limping out to the driveway where Collin was waiting for me
in his mustang. I couldn’t wait until I was 16,
and could drive wherever I wanted.
“You look nice.” He
smiled as I made myself comfortable in the front
seat.
“Yeah.” I laughed
sarcastically. “The crutches really complete
the outfit right?”
Collin laughed. “So,
who are we double dating with?”
“Well, uhm.” I laughed
unsurely. “Zoe and-“
“Zoe?!” He shot me an
almost angry expression.
I gave him an innocent smile,
hoping he wouldn’t be mad. After all, Zoe is
his ex-girlfriend.
“Oh come on.” I lightly
punched his shoulder. “It won’t be that
bad.”
“I guess you’re
right.” He shrugged his shoulders.
“Oh yeah, one more
thing.” I said hesitantly, knowing that the whole Zoe
thing was already a lot to take in.
“What?” He asked
nervously.
“You have to make my
ex-boyfriend jealous.” I said slowly, trying not to
make eye contact. “That’s who Zoe’s
date is.”
“Really?” he asked
surprised. “Okay.”
“Seriously? You spaz
over a double date with Zoe, but you’re okay with me
just telling you that you have to act like my
boyfriend?”
“Yeah.” He winked at
me.
I smiled, rolling my eyes at his
immaturity.
“So, do I have to like, kiss
you and stuff?” He asked hopefully.
“If you’re okay with
that.” I giggled.
“I think I’ll
manage.” He said happily, as we pulled up to the
beach.
“Okay.” I sighed.
“You ready?”
He nodded, helping me out of the
car. Collin slipped his arm around me as we walked
towards Zoe and Jake, who were standing next to a game on
the pier. I had to admit, the look on Zoe’s
face was priceless when she saw me with
Collin.
That’s right sweetheart, I
thought to
myself.

For all of you who left
comments in the last chapter, thank you ♥ You are
all amazing, and really made me feel better. You
guys are right, I shouldn't let that kind of stuff get
to me. &for those of you who were wondering, I
wasn't considering the hate as people who pointed
out my mistakes. Some girl wrote me this big
long paragraph on how my story sucked and that I
was stupid. I'm working on chapter 14 right
now, should be up soon ♥

your a great writer, i love your story so far :) do you reckon you could maybe find a picture of all your characters, even if you dont have any? I just really want to know what they would ook like in your head :)

You told me to write for ME, not for anyone else. If those anyone else's are hating on you, just ignore it if you love it. Writing is all about you, nobody else matters. I really like your story and so do many other people. And they are probably just hating because you are popular and other people only have like 2 faves on stories, but you no what, it doesn't matter. WRITE FOR YOU, NO US ♥ stay beautiful! :)

Anyone who is hating on your stories really needs to stop, this story is relatable and entertaining. You're a great writer and don't let anyone tell you differently. If they don't appreciate what you can do it's their loss. I deeply apologize that anyone would push you to the point that you wish to stop writing, you truly could do great things if you continue to pursue your talent. Haters gonna hate, but don't let the few keep you from doing what you love and what us, your fans, love.

words cannot describe how much i love this. you’re so good at writing, i’d read this over & over & over again over a published book any day! i hardly ever get on witty, but the only reason i do is to check & see if the next chapter is up. even when i quit witty, i still had a bookmark on my computer that took me to your profile so i could read the story. i love it. & i love your writing. you’re talented! :)

obviously your stories are amazing or you wouldnt have as many faves and followers as you do, you just need to forget about the haters and write for yourself and the people who like and connect with your stories, i think they are rlly good and would be devasted if you stopped :) so keep it up your great
