well, if the 14 year old and the 18 year old were dating before the 18 year old turned 18 and they have the okay from their parents to date then there really isnt a problem.as already stated, seniors and freshman date in high school but because the senior is 18 and the freshman is 14, everyone has a problem with it but if they were both over 18 with 4 year between them, no one would care. its just a mindset people have

In highschool, I find that it is quite common for Seniors and Freshman to date. Realistically, it's not a big age gap. If they were 24 and 28, no one would care. However, I feel as if freshmen and seniors have different mindsets. It isn't a problem as long as there is no sexual contact involved (as already been stated, it would be illegal).

I think that's kind of illegal. Some one that far underage and an adult..? Well, yeah. It'd be different if the 14 year old was 17.
