the point is that in the future since people don't care about those they met in high school, you shouldn't worry how you act now. that way, you CAN have a normal life. i completely agree with this quote

Yeah, but colleges and people hiring you for jobs aren't going to care what people thought of you. The only thing they're gonna care about is if you can give them a good reputation and do your work.
