For Better Or For Worse
Chapter Nine - Part 2
~ Tanner's POV ~
I know we find each other repulsive, but we have
seven minutes. All we do is fight and get on each other’s
nerves, but for two people who really hate each other, I’m
sure this kind of chemistry isn’t normal.
“You know, at least pretend like you
have any emotion besides hatred,” I whisper-yelled.
“Stop telling me what to do,” she
hissed with her arms folded across her chest.
“Are you just always going to hate me,
or are we just gonna get this game over with?” I whispered
back to her.
“You are such a pig,” she spat at
me.
“Me? Shut up,” was all I could
think to say.
“Can we just get this over
with?”
“Do you want a peck, or do you wanna be
treated the way Tanner treats the ladies,” I said licking
my lips.
“Whatever you want.” She rolled
her eyes - clearly she wants me.
~ Jackie's POV
~
He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his
waist. He shoved me against the wall and ran his hands up and
down my thighs. Kissing me pretty hard, he shoved his tongue into
my mouth. For two people who hate each other, this was one pretty
intense kiss. My dress flew up a little, but instead of shoving
his hands up it like a perv, he fixed it for me by pulling it
down. I pulled my hand from around his neck to his jaw line as he
pressed his body closer to mine. I pulled away for a breath of
air.
“So you do this with all of the
ladies?” I laughed as he kissed me one final time before
putting me down.
“Nah,” he shrugged.
“Back to hating each other?” I
asked, sticking my hand out for a deal.
“Sure… no, wait. No deal. I
can’t hate you now. Not after the moment in Verizon, and
certainly not after this. Sure we fight, but the best
relationships come from passion. Whether the passion comes from
hate or not, it’s there for us. I feel like something was
meant to happen between us, and I want you. So badly. What do you
say, Jacks?” I was speechless. I talk a lot, so for me to
be speechless, is impressive. Even though we fought a lot,
he’s right; passion is what keeps love alive. Maybe we were
meant to meet each other to be together.
