This boy, he was my everything, my world. He
was all I knew for almost a year and a half. After graduation, he
went off to Basic training to be a soldier in the U.S.
Army.
September: I went down to Oklahoma with his family. His brother, a
year younger than I, was really nice that trip, which was weird
because he was always kind of a jerk before that. Sarcastic
annoying and mean.
November: I sat at home, waiting for him to come home from
AIT-Advanced Individual Training, also in Oklahoma. Thanksgiving,
he did. He surprised me at my mom's office which is a block
away from school. she told me to walk to her office after school
and he was there, in uniform. i remember that day like it was
yesterday.
December: After he learned everything at his base in North
Carolina, he surprised me and his family again by coming home for
Christmas. I got my wisdom teeth pulled that week. He made homemade
doughnuts for me and fed me one. We sat and watched a movie
together and he was really sweet.
January: He sent me an iTunes gift card for my birthday-one of the
ones he'd gotten for Christmas. Later that month, he was to be
out in the field for a week. I broke up with him that week. Things
were just...not working out. I didn't feel the same. He was
gonna go to Afghanistan. I'd held on...been strong for too
long.
I still love him. </3 I miss him.
and I hate it.
