So I saw this
quote:
'Idg why us guys always
have to make the first move, text first, say i love you first,
and do everything first. How is that fair?
I mean I'm cool with it but it doesnt make sense to me, so
enlighten me please'
and I thought I'd share the answer to this
question with everyone.
Girls are scared of getting hurt, of not being wanted.
We are terrified of making the first move and getting
rejected.
By waiting for a guy to make the first move, it proves to us that
we are wanted and that he wanted to make a move - he didn't
just go along because we started it.
If we don't feel wanted, we feel like there is no reason to
live.
So the guy making the first move makes us feel safe, and stops us
being scared.
It shows us that there is a reason for us to be.
Seems like a huge responsibility for the guy?
It's natural.
If there is no reason to do something, why should
we?
That's why we wait for guys to make
the first move.

Hmm... this is a good idea but we're talking about feelings here. I'm pretty sure guys are afraid of rejection too.
I was thinking... in history, guys got to do everything first. First to go out and get jobs, vote, etc. So it would kinda make sense for guys to make the first move =)
