Lovely Unlovely Reality Chapter 4
"YES!!" The crowd shouts as one
of the guys hits a home run. I smile and
clap along with everyone else.
"See, you're having a good time,
right?" Keelan asks.
"Yeah, I guess so," I say.
"I'm having a great time,"
Ivy answers.
"We know Ivy, we know," I say.
We sat there until the game was over, and
waited a little longer for Ivy to talk to
her new crush, James.
"Hi," She says walking up to
him.
"Hey," He says.
"You did great in the game,"
She says.
"Thanks," He tells
her.
"Here we go," I say. Keelan
laughs.
"See you later Ivy," I tell
her.
"Bye," She says. We walk toward
the car, Ivy hopefully wouldn't take
long.
"She has a different crush
everyday," Keelan laughs.
"I know," I smile.
"At least you've had the same
crush since eighth-grade," She
points out.
"Shh," I hiss.
"Oops, sorry," She giggles.
"Jeez, you'd accidently say
everything if you didn't eventually
forget it," I tell her.
"I know, actually I don't tell
most things unless it actually does
slip," She says.
"Exactly," I say and nod. We
stand ther for a few more minutes.
"She's taking forever,"
Keelan says.
"Yeah, when does she not,
though?" I ask.
"Agreed, but she's normally
faster than this," Keelan
mutters.
"Hey guys," Ivy says walking up
to us.
"Finally," Keelan says.
"I have to tell you something,"
Ivy squeals.
"Ok?" I ask.
"Alright, I set us all up on a date
for Friday, so you guys need to find
dates," Ivy says.
"What?!" I say.
"Ivy, that's in three days,
we'll never be able to find
dates!" Keelan says.
"Don't worry Keelan, you have a
few secret admirers at school, you'll
find someone," Ivy smiles.
"Right, because I have so many
secret admirers," Keelan sighs.
"That's what James said,"
Ivy shrugs.
"Okay, because we believe baseball
players," Keelan mutters and gets in
the car.
"This sucks," I mutter and get
in.
When we get to my house we all walk
in.
"This is absolutely horrible,"
I groan.
"No it's not, it's a perfect
chance to talk to Luke," Ivy
says.
"No, it's not, I refuse to
embarress myself any further in front of
him, or anyone else," I tell
her.
"Yeah, we just need to keep you away
from any walls and lockers, you don't
need anymore broken fingers," Keelan
says.
"thank you keelan, for your never
ending support," Ivy mutters.
"What? I figured tha since we've
moved in with Hadley we need to be
totally honest with her," Keelan
says.
"Right," Ivy mutters.
"Oh well, we'll talk about it
more tomorrow," I sigh. Then, we all
head upstairs.
"Night guys," Keelan
calls.
"Night," I say from the very
end of the hallway.
"Good night," Ivy calls from
two doors down from Keelan.
*So, how is it? Comments on how I did? :)
