If you really think about it, sports don't
"evolve" very much. You might have faster players.
People might get stronger. Height goes up. It's only the
people a part of the team. The game itself doesn't really
change. Cheerleading keeps evolving. It keeps getting more
physically demanding and structured. The expectations keep
getting higher. Years ago all cheerleaders did was jump, do a
cartwheel and a thigh stand or something. Now, you have girls
twisting and flipping over 10 feet in the air. This sport is just
going to keep getting harder and harder.
Oh,
& did you see that? I said
S-P-O-R-T.

sports do evolve though. Hockey players? They used to not wear pads or helmets, in fact if you wore a helmet you were a wimp. Volleyball? New rules, new regulations. Same with softball and most sports. Cheerleading isn't the only SPORT that changes....................

Hockey I understand. I know that rules and regulations change but my point is that cheerleading has changed SO much over the years. I cheer for my high school and the highest skill people do in round two are tucks. The standard keeps getting higher. We could start throwing standing Arabians now. That's my point.
