I sighed and slowly handed the stick to Abby who
quickly took it and scanned over it.
She frowned and looked at me sadly.
"It's positive."
"Oh my god Abby, what the hell am I going to do?!
I'm going to get murdered! When my parents get back
from the stupid trip i'm dead, dead, dead,
dead!"
"Wait Payton, sometimes there's false
positives."
"Theres another one in the bathroom. I took
two just in case one didn't work. I'll go get
it." I ran to the bathroom and scanned the room
for the test I spotted it and grabbed it, instantly
reading it. I felt my lip tremble and I burst into
tears.
"God i'm so stupid! This one is positive too.
Why did I have to drink so much and make this
mistake." Abby rushed over and pulled me into a
hug. I cried into her shoulder, trying to figure out
what I would tell Tyler.
"What am I going to tell him?"
"He's in the living room. I told him to wait
there, no questions asked." I pulled away from the
hug and used my sleeve to wipe away the tears from my
eyes.
"Thanks for being here for me Abby. I'll be
right back."
"Don't worry, Ty wouldn't leave you at a
time like this. Stay strong." I sucked in a breath
and walked to the living room and sat on the couch near
Tyler.
"Tyler we need to talk." After I thought I
controlled myself I looked into Tyler's eyes and
broke down again. I couldn't tell him.
"Payton don't cry. Babe, you know you can tell
me anything."
"I-I-I'm not so sure I can." He pulled me
into a tight hug and stroked my hair. My lip trembeled
and I tried to form the words.
"What's wrong Payton?"
"I-i-i'm p-pregnant." He looked at me
with wide, incredulous eyes.
"What?!" I gulped and looked up at him.
"I'm pregnant." I repeated.
