You call me your best friend?
Then why don't you take me on trips? Why do I see you're
always hanging out with others while you know I'm home. By
myself. Why do I have to be the one who you only talk to when
something's gone wrong in your life. I'll always be there
for you. but this isn't fair. I do everything I can for you. I
even let you sleep over on weeknights to help you escape your
house. Yet, when it comes to your birthday, you talk about
how everyone was planning a huge party. yet I never got an
invitiation. I bet you never even tried asking about it, did
you?
I know, you're gonna defend yourself by saying I've been
busy. I get it. But the thought to invite me would still be
nice. I hate how we don't hang out like we used to. and
Don't yell at me saying highschool has changed us and all that
bull crap. this started in 6th grade. You wouldn't talk to me
unless we were outside of school then, or even sit by me at luch,
just like now.
Remember when you hung out with the kids that were bullying me in
front of your face and you turned away saying they were doing
nothing? Remember when the princible threatened to bring in the
police for what those kids did to me? I don't think that's
nothing. They even told me you were doing some of the stuff,
but I didn't believe them. Be honest with me, Should I
have?
I know you have other friends. but would you just look around and
realize half of them have hurt you. You've called me, crying,
about the girl you hang out with the most. and you know who I'm
talking about. She's there with you tonight. I know she's
my friend too, and I'd never try to drag her into this, cause
this is just between you and me. But seriosuly?
And you say you don't like what you've become.. Well
that's casue you're not telling yourself who you are. Nad I
know, there are some major changed going on in your life. and you
feel like you can't handle it. But moping around
and feeling sorry for yourself is not help. I know it makes
you feel good cause then people are making sure you are alright.
but the more you do it, the more people aren't going to want to
hang out with you. take it from someone who knows.
And just to point this out. You can defend yourself all you want.
but you know this is true.
I'll always be there for you. But please, don't push me
aside like I'm nothing until you need me.
Because you are my best friend. but
obviosuly, I'm not yours.
Long, I know but whoever took the time to read this, I thank you
soooo much. I needed that off my chest.
