 The boy from above
Chapter 1

My mom finished putting the boxes of my stuff in the corner of my new apartment.
"Here you are Evangeline."
"Mom its just Evan." I reminded her.
She smiled her sweet winning smile.
My mom was so pretty and I loved her so much.
I twirled my hair that was down, the other half of my head was braided into cornrows.
"So whats your scheduale?" she asked.
"Well lets see. I have some morning classes and one afternoon class."
I handed her my scheduale and she just nodded.
"Its hard to believe your only 16 and your already in college" smiled my mom.
I was always 2 years younger in school because I started school when I was 3 turning 4.
"I know! Haha but I think I can handle it."
"Well better get unpacking."
My mom gave me one last hug and she squeezed me tight.
She was about to say something but we were interrupted by thumping above us.
"Sounds like you have neighbors."
I just sighed. Great.
Just as I was about to say something they added a electric guitar to the mix of their thumping.
Who was up there?
"GOOD LUCK!" she shouted as my mom left.
I put up with their noise for about 20 minutes until they finally stopped.
Thank god.
I flopped on my couch as I heard my cell phone ring.
I looked at the caller ID and it was my dead beat dad.
Great.
"Hello?" I answered annoyed.
"HI PUMPKIN! How ya dooooion? Not pregnant are you? Oh haha just kidding. So listen I  am coming over today. Okay? Okay great. Bye hunnie!"
What just happened?
I had NO oppertunity to tell him no...
Ugh. My dad was the worst human being in the history of the world.
He cheated on my mom at least 45 times in the 20 years they were married.
My mom insisted I should be nice but I hated him!
Oh well. At least I finally had silence.....
Ahhhh silence.
Not 5 minutes later the noise began...
It was nice while it lasted.
After two hours I finally told him I had studying to do but I just really wanted him gone
He finally left after a million goodbyes and I love you's and a million short stories.
Finally.
The noise upstairs finally stopped as I was making myself a vegitarien dinner.
I was so happy until it was time for bed. I just finished putting on a tank top and sweat pants and got all comfy in bed when the neighbors started again.
This was going to be a long night...
