My friend and I were argueing last
night
Him: I think my
grandpa fought in either the Korean war or the Cold
War
Me: Well it had to be the Korean War
Him: Why do you say that?
Me: Because the cold War wasn't an actual war. It was
a compition between Russia and the United States to see
who could create teachnology faster. We created the
hydorgen bomb before them, but they beat us to space.
They launched the first shuttle into space, but we beat
them to the moon. The Cold War didn't have any
fighting done, it's like when girls fight. We attack
sneakily, never admitting we are fighting. But everyone
knows we are, it was like that.
Him: Well, what if my grandpa helped make that bomb? HUH?
WHAT THEN? (He was getting sarcastic at this point)
Me: Then he still wasn't actually fighting
Him: Well what if a fight happened? He got in a fist
fight with another guy. See! He fought in that war!
Me: No, he didn't. He got into a fight that lasted
all about 15 minutes, max. that isn't fighting in a
war or for your coutry. And I know he didn't make the
bomb
Him: Well...WELL.
Me: Yup, I have you beat
Him: WELL GUESS WHAT
i love you.
