Just tell him: "I just can't do long distance relationships, sorry,". If he says "But I promise I wont cheat___" blah blah, tell him how could you trust him? You wouldn't be seeing him and it just wouldn't work. Well, that's what i'd say

How long will he be gone for?
& if its a great relationship dont end it just cause he moves, maybe keep the relationship going long distance until you's can move in together?
(thats what im doing :) next year we should be moved in together :D )

Dont know why you cant do it. Ive met my boyfriend whilst travelling and we live on different sides of the country... and we do long distances... and its amazing when we see each other. But I guess if you dont like him so much, then yeh dont do it. So best answer is that you just tell him. Be like 'I dont really think long distance could work, sorry. i want to be fair to both of us' (: Hope that helps!
