The point of the quote "words will never hurt you" though is to make you feel better when you hear mean words. saying that you really shouldn't get hurt over words because they're just words and really don't mean anything. so if you have that kind of mindset, the words that people say to you will not hurt.

AGREED! We were told a lot of things as children, That looking back on have proven to be untrue. In all honesty, Words hurt worse than any physical harm that could be inflicted upon someone, Because wounds heal but the words people say to you will stay with you forever .
