9/11

My mother was in New York on September 11th, 2001.
She was in the taxi going to her hotel when all of a sudden traffic was backed up. The cab driver wouldn't say anything. Then she smelled smoke, and she witnessed the twin towers burning and falling. People who she worked with were in those buildings and on those planes.
Mom, I'm so thankful you're safe.

Rest in peace to those who lost their lives. You'll never be forgotten. ♥
