Goodbye to Everything I Thought I Knew
Chapter 1, 2nd half

Although, Ronnie assumed the rest of the school day would be a drag, it went by surprisingly quickly.  It may have helped that her mind was elsewhere.  After 9th period, her last class, she made her way to Tyler’s locker.  Tyler and Blake had 9th period together, and they all decided Tyler’s locker was middle ground, and a perfect stop to meet up before driving home.  This time Ronnie beat them; but as soon as she had arrived, she saw them approaching down the hall.  That was the easy part, meeting up with the guys; it was waiting for her sister that she dreaded.    Vanessa took her time getting to the car, and by that it means it could take up to ten minutes.  Ronnie could never understand the social life of her sister.  Vanessa had always been like that, a people person; she could talk and talk for hours but at the same time, she could be a good listener and for that she and Ronnie were close.  They acted just like best friends except for the occasional fight, but what could she do; they weren’t exactly compatible on everything.  But while waiting in her 2002 Nisan, she despised her sister for making them wait all the time.  Only once had she actually left her, but she eventually felt bad and came back.
“OH MY GOSH GUYS! You are never going to believe what just happened!” Blared Vanessa
“Ha, oh dear.” Whispered Blake
“Well probably not, so maybe you should tell us before you explode.” Joked Tyler
“Ahh!  Ryan gave me his number!” Screamed Vanessa
“Ha lovely, Nessa, you made us wait so you could get a guy’s number.” Stated Ronnie
“Wait, the guy you met at bowling league or whatever?” Asked Blake
“Yes! He’s so cute; I can’t believe I have his number.”
Ronnie just shook her head and put the car in reverse; her sister could be so obnoxious about guys sometimes.
