Promise me
Chapter
one.
"Chug!Chug!Chug!Chug!" screamed the
drunken crowd that surrounded me. I hesitated a little bit before
downing the rest of the beer can."YAA!" the crowd cheered. I
smiled to myself before hopping off the table and grabbing 2 more
cans. It was my last night in new York city i needed to have the
most unforgettable night.
"Skye.....skye.!" a hushed voice
sang. While attempting to wake me up.
"huh?...5 more minuets" i begged
groggily.
"Skyler Anne Marcus, if you
don't get up this instant, i swear i will steal your
favourite Louis Vuitton bag, and Gucci
bracelet." i heard my best friend kim, say.
"Ughh,im up, im up." i
mumbled.
"i
knew you that wake you up." she
laughed.
"Never mess with a girls Prized
possessions." i smiled.
"ya,ya, just get up. Last night was our last sleep over-
that you were probably to drunk to even remember- Which means
today is your last morning in New York. So Me being the nice
person i am, i decided i would treat you with a nice breakfast at
our fave
cafe" she beamed.
I
rolled my eyes. "Ugh. Don't remind me." i frowned
as i got up to find some aspirin. We were currently in Kim's
penthouse, which was more like a mansion. Kim and i have been
best friends since the diaper days,not a day goes by that we
don't hang out. Unfortunately that's all going to change.
You see, my mom is the CEO of some big company and they
want to transfer her to California and i have to go with her. Mom
thinks it's going to be a great opportunity for the both of
us, because she'll get to stay home more often which means
time to spend with "the family" and she also
would get payed more. I didn't even think it was possible
for her to make more money. We were already known as the richest
family in new York city and now we were going to be even more
rich. I could care less though.
" why does your mom even want to go
cali? i
mean she already makes an oober large amount of money."
she asked as if reading my mind.
"Who knows
,what my moms thinking. I mean she never even gave me a say, in
what i wanted." i walked into her in suit bathroom and
opened the cabinet behind the mirror. I spotted the aspirin and
took 2 out of the container. I popped them into my mouth and
forced into go down my throat. I sighed and then walked over to
her closet which consisted of some of my clothes.
For the very last time i pulled out something to wear.
I swear. Sometimes life can be so depressing.
