Chapter one 

"Yeah?" I yelled from the top of the stairs. I swore I heard Jase call my name, but, he's been gone for three years now. I waited a few seconds but no response. As I turned to walk back into the master bedroom I heard banging on the door and then Andy's Voice screaming "Monica!, Monica its me , Andy ! Let me in!" I practically ran down the stairs and flung the door open. "Sorry I was a little distracted" I said. He nodded back to my statement forgivingly. I guess before I continue I should explain a little. To start My name is Monica Ramirez, I am 22 years old and widowed. I married My High school sweetheart when we were nineteen. Jase died that year. It took a huge toll on my life. I attemped suicide three times that year. It was also the year I first heard my Saviours voice. It was the first time I had ever heard the band 'BlackVeilBrides' Their lyrics saved my life. I finally met them at concert that they had in my state. I had given them a letter I left my email in it. Andy had emailed me and said they were very touched by my letter. Since The band and I have become best friends. I regret no experiences I've had with them. But back to right now. "So what were you doing that you were so distracted by anyway" Andy questioned me worriedly "Oh nothing just writing again. I was just really into it today" I replied I saw his face light up "Ooooh. Another song Since the collab you did with us your music carrer has really taken off" He said excitedly "Yeah another song. But I dont know if I wanna go through with this album thing." I said "bu.." "I mean I am really really appreciative of every single thing you guys have done for me but I dont do good with crowds or fame" I said quickly cutting him off. "Well...we dont have a show today or tomorrow how about the band you and me go to lunch. We can ALL talk and input our oipions then." He said, putting quite a large emphisis on the word all. I agreed to lunch anyway walked him to the door and hugged him. I sat back down on the couch thinking about what I had just said and lunch. I ran quickly upstairs to shower and get ready.
