The Real Me
chapter 5.
after he talked, we kinda just remained
silent. but it was really hot, so i got up and toke my dress off
and jumped in the lake. when i came up, he was gone.. then there
was a splash beside me. i looked over and it was him. after
awhile of swimming. we got out, and he walked me back to the
house. i drove myself home, and right before i was going to bed,
my phone buzzed.
tylerr!: night b, sleep good. (:
aww, that was nice of him. im so glad i got my bestfriend
back!
me: night ty!
i shut my phone and quickly went to bed. i woke up early
surprisingly. i smelled food once again? what was up with mom
lately? i walked down to the kitchen.
"hey hunny! theres bacon and pancakes!"
"oh thanks but its gravy day at school and i want some of
that"
she looked kinda disappointed but she just gave a fake smile. i
grabbed my keys. i figured if she was home again after school, id
ask her whats going on. i got to school and walk to my locker.
everybody kept looking at me strange when i turned out, and i had
no idea why. then when i turned back around, i realized. there
was kyle at my locker.
"listen, im sorry. i was drunk, i love you."
"the truth comes out when your drunk.."
"yeah i cheated on you! so what! you wouldn't put
out."
i just walked away after that, i couldn't handle anything
else he would have to say. i walk to find lacey at her locker
making out with some guy? wait! thats not some guy, thats tyler.
wow, never saw that one coming. but im happy for them. i walk up
to them.
"aww" which made them stop and blush.
we all walk to first period. and there was a new kid in my seat,
ugh. i hate when we have new people. and especially guys, their
all jerks! i got and sit beside him.
" hey, im lucas".
