Chapter 27c

“Okay,” I sighed.  But it was a fake sigh and he knew that.

He smiled again, because he knew that it was a fake sigh.  I kissed his smile.  He deepened the kiss but only slightly.

After I pulled away I asked, “So how were tryouts?”  But maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to do so at this moment in time. 

He paused before he answered, “They went well but Coach Abbott is a real jerk.”

“Oh?  That sucks.  But I’m positive you did great,” I replied sweetly.

“Why thank you baby,” he smiled.

I responded, “You’re welcome boo, because it’s true.”

But after that I felt I should let my brother and Austin talk about everything, so I went up to my room and started picking out what I would wear for our date tomorrow.  Roni would know where to find me once she was done making out with my brother.  That’s still really weird to say and think about but I mean they look amazing together and I want them to be happy.

I decided on a tropical print kimono dress from Delia’s.  And I would wear my black strappy heels with the flower on the side.  For jewelry I decided to wear a ring with two hearts and a black wire heart ring with black flower studs and colorful hoops.  My ears are double pierced.  I would have my hair down and natural, so super curly with a cute black headband with a black bow on it on top.  I decided that that would work for whatever he had planned.  As for the make-up I decided that I would go natural and then a little lip gloss, eye liner, and mascara.

Just a second later Casey walked in and greeted me, “Hey Tiff.  Sorry I didn’t mean to be down there for that long.”

“It’s okay, I know you haven’t seen Tay for a few days,” I smiled.

She returned the smile, “Thanks Tiff!  See this is why you’re my best friend.  Well one of the reasons anyway.”

“Haha, no problem Roni,” I laughed.

Casey changed the subject, “So, what are you doing tomorrow with Aus?”

“Well, he’s taking me on our first formal date, but I don’t know where yet,” I smiled even wider than I had before.

“Awwwwh! That’s so cute!” she gushed.

I blushed, “Thank you!”

“You’re welcome bestie,” she smirked.

“I’m assuming that Tay asked you out too?” I asked.
