Chapter 25
(Austin’s P.O.V) (After
try-outs)
I
can’t get over how different Tayden seemed. I
can’t quite place my finger on it, but it just didn’t
feel right. I feel like he isn’t telling me
something. Or, maybe he is having girl troubles. I
don’t even know, he just seemed off. Like it
wasn’t really him or something, but I mean no one would
fake being Tayden, would they? I mean he’s new, so
nobody knows him, Plus he’s good at football so why would
someone try to sabotage him? And I know that it
couldn’t be Tiffany because she is not good at
football. Tayden was amazing today, better than when we
were just tossing the football around. Whatever, once I get
home, I’ll text him and ask him what’s up. Or
maybe I should ask Tiff because I don’t want him to feel
even more awkward than he does right
now.
(Tiffany’s P.O.V)
I
really hope I didn’t screw up my brother’s friendship
with my boyfriend. If so, lemme tell you in my house it
will be awkward, but that’s a major understatement. I
should probably warn Tayden. I have to get home first,
though. Then I will take another shower because I’m
all sweaty and gross.
(Tayden’s P.O.V)
Tiff just
came home and she looks really worried. I want to know
why. I guess I’ll ask her later. I hope
everything is alright. I wonder what they had to do during
try-outs. Maybe I should ask Austin? Nah, I’d
probably be better off asking Tiff but I might ask him later
anyways. Right now I should focus on the positive, that she
is okay and I am almost positive everything is okay. But,
I’m going to have to find out for
sure.
