Am I The Only One,
that's getting annoyed by all the
quotes that are just asking for favs , so their mom will
get them something or so their friend will quit smoking or
something like that? i mean, that's all the quotes
anymore..
and let's get real.. if your friend was really
going to commit suicide, why would you just be sitting on witty,
writing about it? wouldn't you wanna find them
REAL help?
*just my opinion,
comment if yours is different.

i agree. i think it's okay for them to vent & ask for someone to be there for them, but it's annoying how all the top quotes are like that.

I agree 100% about the commiting suicide. cause honestly, if i were to commit suicide. I wouldn't give a what anyone else thinks. but when its about a parent dying or something people need support. so, i have different views on the circumstances.

I totally agree. The top quotes aren't what they are supposed to be anymore. I saw someone had FOUR of hers on the FIRST page. It's ridiculous. They all revolved around the same thing. What happened to the inspiring top quotes? Or the hilarious ones? Not the ones that your dad "texted". My that her dad actually texts that. Witty has changed. Period.

i agree with you, i find that in newest quotes there are much more inspiring quotes that should be on top quotes, but i do see why people make those help ones. if its about a friend or theirselves thinking about suicide they just want to prove their point that there ARE people who care, so tons of people fave...its not meant to be on top quotes but it just shows the person who made the quote....that all those people care for them. (:

I agree but I don't at the same time. I mean sure it's okay for people to want things and it's not like EVERYONE on witty is asking for stuff, in fact I haven't seen a top quote like that for a couple days. I do agree that its annoying because when you see another actual quote and you think damn that quote should've been on top quotes instead. So I guess it bothers me but not much because there asking for something that will probably help there life a lot :)

I agree with sharpie76 : venting is fine, it's the whole asking for faves thing that ticks me off.
@ Brittany: WTH? That's fine if they want people to know, but they think that doing that they should ask for faves? Lame. And the whole asking for hope thing is just as crap. You can't get hope from seeing a bunch of hearts. You get hope by getting of your lazy and taking that person to a motivational speech or something like read them a story about someone who went through the same thing and came out better to give THEM hope. If you really love that person you would do more than just Wittying about it. If you really want to help them, find some other way!

i kind of agree with the quote. i get it if you wanna vent or just tell someone, but not asking for faves. 500 faves will NEVER make someone magically un-suicidal or something, trust me. :)

OR.. they want everyone to be aware of the mistakes their loved ones are making so that everyone can see what they truly have.. or maybe they tried getting help. it's quotes like these that diserve a dislike button. people have the right to want people to know. the buying stuff is gay, but the suicide thing is alright. i would want to be aware. every life is important. don't judge what others have to say, because what you have to say isn't any more important.

Venting is fine, but bribing witty people with true stories, or made up sob stories is not okay. If they want to let out feelings and what nots, go ahead. But all these quotes are getting tons of favs and comments, and we dont even know if there true, i agree with chloaaay17
