Chapter

“Maybe you’re right, Tay,” Austin
sighed.
I felt kinda bad because Austin seemed upset or disappointed or
something but I hope it isn’t because of
me.
I answered, “Yeah, I’m not sure because I’ve
never met him, but hopefully that helped.” I
wasn’t really lying. I have never met anyone named
Mattox or Easton and I honestly do hope that my advice helped
even if he didn’t use any of it.
“It did, thank you,” he smiled. God, how I love
that smile.
I smiled, too, “No problem. Only one more lap.
Let’s finish this up and we can talk more later, is that
okay?”
“Yeah, sure,” he replied.
I hoped that didn’t sound too girly either because if so,
then I really have blown my cover.
When we finally finished those pesky laps, Coach Abbott ran
drills and whatnot. You know the basic football
stuff. I don’t want to bore you with the
details. Either way, it went pretty well and I could not
wait to change out of this dumb guy suit and wear normal
clothes. I will probably wear some more of my uber girly
stuff because like I said before, Austin has no clue that
I’m actually more of a tom boy and that is how it should
stay.
