I heard the letter box;

 ;heard the post come through-
thought it could've been a letter to me, from you?
I remembered that was silly, the post came at ten;
tracked down from the hideaway- the Postman's den.
And anyway it was Thursday, day of the 'paper
you wouldn't write- IM the lovesick teenager
Then I remembered it wasn't Thursday afternoon
It was friday- Could it be you?
Then i ran to the door
Picked up the post for the core-
Reason-I wanted to know if it was you
