Love of my life.10.

~We went through the music, she made me sight read a lot of things and gave me a lot of vocal tips. I had a LONG way to go but, I would be there an extra two days per week. I can’t wait, this is going to be so amazing. Ethan walked in the choir room when I was putting music away and he walked over to me.~

“You’re the only person who had to be here today?”

-I had work to do for Mrs. Williams. (I went into her office and told her I may stay after tomorrow again to practice. She said it was fine and to have a good night.)

“I seen the flyer for the Summer concert. Too bad I won’t make it to see you do awesome up there.”

-You’re going to mi- miss it? (He didn’t know about the solo’s. Or how much I really wanted him to be there when I performed.)

“No? I’ll be at the beach. July 23^rd is your concert, and I am there till the 24^th. I told you that.”

-Yeah, I remember. Can I tell you something? But you have to promise not to tell ANYONE.

“Pinky Promise, love.”

-I’ve got two solo’s for the concert, Ethan.

“What? Solo’s? You? Alone? Really!?”

-Yeah. Really. I’m doing this for myself to get over the whole shy thing. It kind of sucks you won’t be there.

“It’s not to late, I can tell-”

-Ethan, no. You’re not staying for me. I love you, and you need to go have a fun trip.

“Ri, are you sure? I feel bad.”

-I’m positive. (We pulled into Ethan’s drive way and his mom was outside.) Hi Mrs. Kate.

*Sweetie, it’s been long enough, call me Kate!*( She hugged me as I went to go into the house.)

-I miss your house, we never come here anymore. (I said walking into his room and sitting on the bed.)

“Yeah, you wanna stay tonight? I could take you home to get stuff.”

-That sounds amazing. I bet your bed misses you. (I smiled and he took my hands and pulled me off the bed and took me into a big hug. I rested my head on his chest and breathed his lovely scent of cologne in.)

“You’re so cute, Ri.”

-So are you, Ethan.

(He held me in his arms for a bit longer then sat me on the bed. He walked to his desk and grabbed his phone, making sure no one important had called. Then came back over next to me and held my hands, kissing my cheek. He whispered ‘I love you, Mariah. You mean the world to me.’ and my heart sank. The love we have is so strong.)
