-Never better, why are you so happy? (I smiled and kissed his cheek while sitting down to listen.)

“Well, Jason& I are going to the Beach this Summer for a week. It’s gonna be hype down there.”

-Oh. When is this?

“I think we’re leaving like July 16 and be home by the 25^th. I’ll still be there for the weeks your dad is out of town, Ri. I wouldn’t have said yes if it were during then.”

-No, no. I’m not upset. I hope you have a good time. I’ll miss you a lot though. Okay. That’s like a month away. No need to worry yet. (I smiled and he grabbed my hand)

“There won’t be anything to worry about, I love you.”

-I know (I smiled and he kissed my hand and from behind Jason was “Awing” behind me so I elbowed him.

*Ow! Dang.*

-So, Ethan. I have to stay after school today, would you be able to pick me up?

“Of course. It’s not Friday though, why are you staying?”

-I have to stop in to see Mrs. Williams for stuff.

“Oh, cool. Yeah, I can get you.”

-Thanks, you’re the best. I am going to go to the bathroom, &6^th period. I’ll see you after okay?

“Sounds great. I love you.”

-You too. (I smiled, kissed him, and looked at Jason.) You, not so much.

*Oh, come on. I didn’t do anything.*

-Jealous. I got Ethan more then you do. Ha. Buh bye.

~I skipped 7^th period and just went straight down to Mrs. Williams. I figured it’d be better if I got the most practice I could get.~

-Mrs. Williams? You in here?

“In the office, come on in.”

-I’d like to go through some of this if you’re not busy, Please.

“No, no! I’ve got plenty of time!”

-Okay. So, Out of the whole thing I really like these two so far. “I’m Gonna Make you Love Me” and The Taylor Swift “Mine”.

“Ah, I think you could do great on both. And, I won’t even have tryouts for either of these. Their yours. Under 1 condition.”

-Really!? What Condition!?

“You’ve got to stay after two days a week and practice. You got to start talking and singing to different people. Different places in the town. Okay?”

-I don’t know. You know that’s not my forte.

“Mariah, you never know who’ll be at that concert. You have got to get used to it and be prepared.”

-I’m so nervous. But I do want this more then anything right now. So I’ll accept the offer. I promise I won’t let you down.

“I know you won’t. You’re going to be awesome.”
