there has never been a time in my life that there wasn't something harry potter to look forward to. when i was 4, i asked my dad what he was reading, it was the sorcerers stone, and so he started reading it to me. for four. hours. straight. his voice was cracked by the end and i still wanted to hear more of the dursleys and hogwarts and the amazing world she had created. harry potter has shaped my whole life, and i am certain that i will be crying at the midnight premiere of dh part 2. i cant believe its ending, but i know that people will always remember and love it for generations to come.

omg it would be so amazing to meet JK, the person who created the world of wizards, a world where readers can escape to, and it honestly makes us feel like we are part of it. I don't know of any other book that has such detail to it, and when you think about it, what kind of person can come up with a series that is so magical? Also, how many authors can write a series that gets better and better by each book? no author i know. It's so rare, almost impossible, to find a book/series that can even be compared to harry potter. the best thing of all, i think, is that the books have so many different things going on. it's not just a love story, or just an adventure. it's like a story inside a story. there are so many twists and turns to it that nobody could even begin to guess what is coming next. thiongs you would expect to happen never happen, and the most unexpected things ever happen! when i finished the last book i was moved. i bet you a lot of people would think i am weird for saying that, "how can you be moved by a book that's pretty much about death?" well i was, and i still am. JK's writing ability is jaw-dropping. She truly is amazing, and i doubt anyone will ever be able to make a book that has had such a huge impact on the world.

Be my best friend.
I grew up on Harry Potter.
Been reading it since I was seven years old.(: I fell in love with the series after I saw the first movie. Then I read the book, and I followed it. And then a few summers ago, there I was holding the Deathly Hallows. It had come a week early, and it was just about the happiest moment in my life.
I read the entire book in two days. It broke my heart and mended it again several times over until I reached the end.
Long live Harry Potter, for it will always be the most devotional and amazing series of which I've ever heard. Thank you for making this quote. I hope all Harry Potter fans everywhere get a chance to see it. < 3

I love Harry Potter (and this quote) :) But I love harry potter as a whole because it taught me bravery, courage, friendship, and very valuable lessons throughout my life. Even now, when there's no more movies to made or books to be written I still obsess over the characters, the actors and actresses, the words, the famous quotes, and the heart aches. I went to the midnight premiere of Harry Potter DH Part 2 with my dad, when I got in the car... I started bawling my eyes out. Why? Because while most kids grew up with Disney Channel....I grew up with Harry Potter, since I was about 3 years old. I don't regret my insanity. I don't regret any of it. Because of Harry Potter and J.K Rowling, I finally found myself. :)
