I want to take a moment to thank JK Rowling.
Today, actually, just a few minutes ago I started Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I had wanted to re-read the series before I started it, but I lost a library copy of Goblet of Fire, so I decided to go ahead and start it. I'm a very big Harry Potter fan, and I've been trying to put off reading it for a while because I haven't been ready to end the series. I know, I can always re-read it as much as I want, but it won't be the same. Harry Potter has become a huge part of my life, and I kinda didn't realize that until I held the last book in my hands. It's made a huge impact on my life. It's taught me so many things, like, through love and friendship anything is possible, to always stay strong, to never give up, that friends and family are the most important people in your life, that life is messy and you'll face a lot of problems, but you can overcome them, and lots of other things. When I picked it up, I seriously started crying, that's how big of an impact it had on me. I love this series so much, and I'm not ready to see it end, and I'm sure that there are some huge Harry Potter fans here on Witty that agree, and maybe even some not-so-big fans that can. Harry Potter is an amazing series and anyone who read it all and can say that it DIDN'T make an impact on their life in the least is either lying or crazy. I love Harry Potter with all of my heart and I'm so glad the series was made. It's really changed my life and made me a different, better person. So, the point of this quote is to thank Joanne Rowling. So, thank you, JK, for creating this series. I know you spent a long time on it, and it definitely shows, you did an amazing job on it. You created a whole other world and it's absolutely amazing, and very creative. You made a thrilling, interesting, amazing series that captivated and changed the lives of so many people. Harry Potter will always be the greatest series known to man and will go down in history. I know that when I have kids, they're going to read the series and hopefully it will impact them like it did me. This series is so big that fans have started Wizard Rock bands, it has it's own theme park, people buy and treasure things like Time-Turners and wands, write Fan-Fics about it, go to conventions, dress up as characters, take quizzes to see what House they should be in, people made a Potter based musical, and even play a muggle-version of Quidditch. Harry Potter has an amazingly dedicated fan-base, and I'm one of those dedicated fans that does stuff like that. You have an amazing talent at writing, and you've inspired me to become an author when I'm older. I even write stories already and save them onto my computer. Hopefully one day I'll be as good as you, and hopefully change peoples lives with an amazing book/series like you. You're a real inspiration to people. I know that you'll probably never see this, but thank you. Your series has changed my life and many other peoples. You're amazing, your series is amazing, your characters are amazing. Nothing will ever compare to Harry Potter, and nothing will make such an impact on my life or so many other peoples lives. Hopefully, you'll decide to continue the series, but if you don't, it was amazing. It'll stay in peoples hearts until the end of time. I'm still so happy you wrote this series, it has seriously changed my life. I know when I get deep into the book I'll cry over all the great peoples deaths, and the peoples deaths who've already occured have seriously upset me, but it's nice to know they died for the right reasons. In my mind, Harry Potter won't be just a book, but much more. There's always been a feeling in my mind that the Wizarding World does, in fact, exist. People think I'm silly for thinking that, but, I'll always think that. Harry Potter will always hold a special place in my heart, it'll always be a part of my life. Like I said, it's so much more than just a book. So, again, thank you so much for writing this series, the most amazing series known to man, the series that has a huge impact on my life, and soo many other people's, like I said before. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to meet you

Love, a huge Harry Potter fan

I love Harry Potter (and this quote) :) But I love harry potter as a whole because it taught me bravery, courage, friendship, and very valuable lessons throughout my life. Even now, when there's no more movies to made or books to be written I still obsess over the characters, the actors and actresses, the words, the famous quotes, and the heart aches. I went to the midnight premiere of Harry Potter DH Part 2 with my dad, when I got in the car... I started bawling my eyes out. Why? Because while most kids grew up with Disney Channel....I grew up with Harry Potter, since I was about 3 years old. I don't regret my insanity. I don't regret any of it. Because of Harry Potter and J.K Rowling, I finally found myself. :)

there has never been a time in my life that there wasn't something harry potter to look forward to. when i was 4, i asked my dad what he was reading, it was the sorcerers stone, and so he started reading it to me. for four. hours. straight. his voice was cracked by the end and i still wanted to hear more of the dursleys and hogwarts and the amazing world she had created. harry potter has shaped my whole life, and i am certain that i will be crying at the midnight premiere of dh part 2. i cant believe its ending, but i know that people will always remember and love it for generations to come.

omg it would be so amazing to meet JK, the person who created the world of wizards, a world where readers can escape to, and it honestly makes us feel like we are part of it. I don't know of any other book that has such detail to it, and when you think about it, what kind of person can come up with a series that is so magical? Also, how many authors can write a series that gets better and better by each book? no author i know. It's so rare, almost impossible, to find a book/series that can even be compared to harry potter. the best thing of all, i think, is that the books have so many different things going on. it's not just a love story, or just an adventure. it's like a story inside a story. there are so many twists and turns to it that nobody could even begin to guess what is coming next. thiongs you would expect to happen never happen, and the most unexpected things ever happen! when i finished the last book i was moved. i bet you a lot of people would think i am weird for saying that, "how can you be moved by a book that's pretty much about death?" well i was, and i still am. JK's writing ability is jaw-dropping. She truly is amazing, and i doubt anyone will ever be able to make a book that has had such a huge impact on the world.

Be my best friend.
I grew up on Harry Potter.
Been reading it since I was seven years old.(: I fell in love with the series after I saw the first movie. Then I read the book, and I followed it. And then a few summers ago, there I was holding the Deathly Hallows. It had come a week early, and it was just about the happiest moment in my life.

I read the entire book in two days. It broke my heart and mended it again several times over until I reached the end.

Long live Harry Potter, for it will always be the most devotional and amazing series of which I've ever heard. Thank you for making this quote. I hope all Harry Potter fans everywhere get a chance to see it. < 3
