" Give it up for Kaya !"
Announced Mrs. White.
The crowd went wild as Kaya McHenry finished her portion of the
Riverside Middle School Annual Talent Show. For an 8th grader, Kaya
had an amazing voice. She was able to sing just about
everything.
She waltzed off stage smiling and waving to the crowd, saying her
thanks. Once in the back of the stage, she dropped the fake smile
and a tear rolled down her cheek. She walked out the back doors of
the stage and into the hallway where kids were getting ready for
there part in the talent show. She walked past everyone and into
the girls bathroom where Cathy and Frannie were waiting for her,
knowing all to well that this certain show would be hard for
her.
" Kaya, it's okay, dont worry." said Frannie
apologetically.
This is the beginning of my story. Is it good enough to
continue?
