It’s funny how you can be so
close to someone, so inseparable, so in love and then somehow all
of it just gets forgotten. Like it never happened, never mattered.
Like you’re two strangers that give each other fleeting
glances but nothing more. How you float through memories but
pretend like they don’t mean anything anymore, like all of
those wonderful moments didn’t change you, like it
doesn’t bother you that you really are strangers
now.
