"Kay. Let's go," I said, defeated. Meghan did one of her "Happy Squeals", and I rolled my eyes, trying to hold back my anger. "What the hell was that?" I thought. We linked arms and headed out the door, with Dylan following close behind. Meghan and I took my Jeep and Dylan took his truck, which I loved, but never admitted to that. We went to a Starbucks, ordered our cappuccinos, and sat down and talked for about twenty minutes. Jadon finally showed up. By noticing Meghan, he found us and came over to our table.
"Hey, Meg," he said. "Meg?" I thought. "Even I don't call her that. . . ." He looked at me and his sparkly blue eyes looked into my sparkly green eyes. Brown, straight hair that was long. Not too long, but cute long. I smiled at him and decided to introduce myself.
"Hi. . . . I'm Jade," I said.
"Jadon," he said, partly shocked because our names were so much alike. To me, it seemed unrealistic that this one boy, who I ended up falling for, almost had the same name. He sat down next to me and we just talked. Dylan's jealousy made me laugh inside. I loved it.
"So, Jade. Do you think I could have your number?" He asked.
"Hmm, nah. I don't think so," I joked.
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, really."
"Alright, then. I guess I'll just be going then," he said, trying to get me to change my mind. I grabbed his arm and sat him back down. We exchanged phone numbers, and went home after shopping for a few hours. It was a good day, until I got a text from someone. . . . Or some people.
