My Sister Died Last Week.
When she was ten years old, she was diagnosed with AML, which is a form of leukemia. Leukemia is a type of cancer of the blood. My whole family didnt get the fact that it was a serious illness, and was going to be fatal. We all thought she would live to get to high school, to get a diploma, to get a job and go to college, to get married, to have babies of her own. I thought she was going to be around to be my maid of honor. But the day the doctor told my family that she wasnt responding to the chemo, and her body was preparing to shut down, our hearts broke. We all wished we could have helped her more than we did. We watched her suffer for two years, and didnt do the best we could to help. I feel guilty. When she died, i was lost. I thought life was going to end up going nowhere. Then it hit me. I had to do something to show my sister that i tried harder than anyone. I made this quote, and i made myself a vow that, for every like i receive on this quote, i am going to send $1 to every AML foundation in the country. For every comment, i am going to send $5. I want my sister to know that i want to help every one who has this disease become better. This is not fake, this is 100% true. It is your own decision to believe this though. I remember the last thing my sister told me: "If life is not going right, go left.

That is so sad, my little sisters friend got diagnosed with leukemia so her and one of her other friends wend around trying to get people to donate... in two hours only two people donated anything, and the two who actually did donate were in need of money themselves. That made me really sad but at the same time those two people gave me hope, and this quote does too. <3

i understand your pain, my sister died last year when she was 11 from epilepsy, we were all expecting her to live much longer too, it's a horrible horrible thing
