Together we look, and stand the day, when freedom had no end. And
we cried because tears filled up our eyes, no one was ready to die.
Why can’t we all get along? Why can’t you see no one is perfect,
and no one is weak? Why are we fighting, when no one’s done wrong?
Why are we struggling? We’re supposed to be strong. Why do little
kids look so sad, it’s not the way to live. Why are we wasting
time, when we were meant to give? Why do we cry when we hear their
names? You could have given them another chance to live. But all
you wanted was victory, but you put another soul to rest. Why do
you take pride in violence? Does it make you feel better about
yourself? Why can’t we make the happiness grow? Is it necessary to
take another away an angel from this world? God didn’t make people
to kill; he only wanted to be fair. This world is nothing to be
owned, why can’t we try to share? Why can’t you stand up for
yourself? Why didn’t you get to know these people, instead of
letting them meet God so soon? You must know that war’s not a game,
we don’t have to hate, because we’re not the same. You are killing
towns and cities, instead of taking your anger out on one person.
You need to know that life isn’t always fair, but it’s never worth
risking people’s lives because of one little thing. Live today, die
tomorrow. But whether you wake up tomorrow or not is your choice.
If you want to be free, just let the world be. God will always
forgive you. It’s time to kneel before the soldiers that try to
protect us, but if we can all get along, who needs protection? It’s
time to act our age and help our country. It’s time to make room
for more people in this world that never meant any harm. With
courage we must unite, as one and all, we must lift are heads up,
to stand proud, and stand tall, and wait for the day when everyone
smiles with pride, and hate becomes only a fantasy.
